Neon Drift Rally
Neon Drift Rally isn't trying to be a serious racing sim, and it's better for it. Tracks are neon ribbons through night cities, and the whole game lives or dies on how good drifting feels. Happily, it feels excellent — one thumb on the brake, one on the gas, and you slide through corners chaining boost after boost.
The tilt controls are optional, which I appreciated, because the touch buttons are perfectly responsive. Each car handles differently enough that swapping rides changes how you approach a track. Once you memorize a course, chasing a clean run becomes weirdly addictive.
There's not a huge amount of depth beyond that, and after a while the tracks start blending together. But for quick, loud, satisfying sessions, it nails exactly what an arcade racer should be.
